What does Black History Month mean to you?

So many black people fought and suffered so that I could be free. So that I could live my life to the fullest. Black history month is a time to celebrate the achievements we have made as a black community. From slavery, to segregation, to the BLM movement – Black History Month is a time to celebrate how unique we are, how beautiful we look, how much rhythm we have, how fierce our voices are, and how much power we own. Black people are phenomenal, this is the month to truly shout that from the rooftops.”
What / who has been your biggest inspiration?
“Barack Obama and Kamala Harris – Their history making elections to the highest office has always inspired me. Their fearless leadership motivates me as a leader daily.”
When creating your Black History Month playlist, what was your inspiration?
“My playlist is inspired by artists who’ve inspired me to constantly celebrate my blackness. They are artists who’ve gone through a significant amount of adversities but have used their passion, determination, and drive to create art. Not to mention, my playlist is filled with songs that I just LOVE!”

“I try to take as many fitness classes as possible to support my fellow fitness community. I set dedicated time to be with my friends, family, and loved ones. I make it a priority to spread love and joy to everyone I meet!”
